Louis Souêtre lives and works in Bagnolet.
Through sculpture, performance, and video, he examines the logics of productivity that shape our relationship to making and to objects—sometimes with a touch of humor or irony. His protocols slow down processes, transform raw materials, and reactivate a craft-based dimension of gesture, revealing the time, effort, and materiality that industrial production tends to erase. His works reinscribe mass-produced objects within gestures and forms of care for resources, questioning our relationship to nature, time, and production.
